If one bad apple spoils the bunch, what about two?

New Poison Apple pieces for sale and Art by Kris Floyd

Halloween is almost upon us and the thoughts of fairytales and fantasies start to turn a bit dark and tumultuous this time of year, so what better to time to share some villainous art and home décor with you.

Carved by Dan Szczepanski's

Carved by Dan Szczepanski’s

It is pretty well known here on the blog that hubby and I are big fans of the Disney villains. The one thing about the villains is that their props are just as infamous as they are, for example; Maleficent’s spinning wheel, Captain Hook’s hook, or the Evil Queen Grimhilde’s apple. You can’t think about them without picturing the villain they belong to and what part they will play in the story. That very premise is the idea behind this post.

apple

Today’s star is the poison apple, with just one bite, Snow White will have eternal sleep and the Queen will reign supreme as the fairest in the land. The apple itself is just as transformative as the queen herself, an apple the symbol of health turned awry. That thought inspired our newest creations, my poisoned apple prop and Kris’ art piece “One Bad Apple”

As for the prop.

Flash back to last year, I decided to go with the dark fairytales for Halloween. In order to tell my Evil Queen story, I needed my own Poisoned apple. I created this beauty and this year you can also have your very own by checking out my ebay l(click apple for link) shop, contact me  here or visit  Rapunzel’s Crafts Facebook Store here.

Poison AppleApples starting at $6.99 plus $4.50 shipping(paypal only.)

If interested in custom apples please contact me.

I hope this helps get you in touch with your villainous side in time for Halloween.

Until next time, Boo to you 🙂

Haunted Mansion – The Clock Strikes 13

Disney Design Group created 2013 Posters for a 13 Poster calendar this year and one of these posters has me, the avid Haunted Mansion fan swooning!

It is the infamous grandfather clock which just so happens to strike 13!

The Posters are also incredible in the fact that there are TWO!

Yep, one for Disneyland and one for Disneyworld, complete with each of the Haunted Mansion represented in the left hand corners.

These are ABSOLUTELY amazing and I think they would be a wonderfully sinister addition to any Haunted Mansion collection.

In addition to the posters these pieces have also stemmed pins and vinylmations which will come out in September along with the posters.

The 2013 Calendar with the 13 images for DisneyWorld is available at the DisneyStore

For more information on the Posters for July and August check out the Disneyblog below

Hubby’s Doctor Who Party Planning- Monster High doll turned Weeping Angel Tutorial

For hubby’s birthday this year, I decided to go with a Dr Who theme and what Dr Who party could be complete without a Weeping Angel. So today I am going to show you how I took a Monster High Doll and turned her into one of the ancient races from Dr Who.

If you aren’t a Doctor Who fan, you may not know what a Weeping Angel is and may be wondering why I should have her as decor for the party, so here is a brief run down on the Angel.

The Weeping Angels are an ancient race of aliens ,their usual mode of feeding is to send their victims back in time, which creates energy to consume. When they are not being observed by someone, they can move very quickly and silently, but when they are being observed, they become “quantum-locked”and become stone.

In this position, they are frozen and difficult to destroy. They cannot stop this reaction. If two Weeping Angels were to look at each other at the same time, they would be trapped in stone form until an outside force moves them apart. To prevent this, they often cover their eyes while moving – this makes them look as though they are weeping.

Weeping Angel

weepingangel

The Weeping Angels play a huge part in the Dr Who Series, they are in several episodes along with the very memorable, “Angels in Manhattan”, which ended last season.

So now with a little background, you see, there should be a Angel at the event

On to the Tutorial

Supplies:

Air Dry Clay

Doll- Used Monster High doll but any doll preferably one with jointed elbows will work (I just like the Monster High dolls.)

Wings- You can make them or buy them, I found some cheap at Hobby Lobby, so I purchased them

Cheesecloth for dress

something to secure  hair and dress like wire or rubberbands

Stone textured spray paint

glue sticks and glue gun

something to work on, I used a paper plate

Steps:

Step 1: Take old clothes off doll, then create a base so she stands on her own with the clay

DSC02061

Step 2: put up dolls hair in a kind of bun (you are going for the old victorian statue look), don’t worry if some of the hair sticks out, this will be fixed laterDSC02062

Step 3: wrap dolls torso in cheesecloth to make draped toga like top and secure at waistDSC02063

Step 4: wrap cheesecloth around waist and drape to form nice wrapped skirt and secure, I used clay to secure to top of dress and ensure edges and bottom were not ridged from cuttingDSC02064

Step 5: attach wings- I used the wire that came with them and wrapped it around the waist and secured with some glue at shouldersDSC02065

Step 6: cover your Angel’s hair with glue from glue gun, create texture and waves and here is where you can secure the fly-aways.

Note: I tried to do this step with clay at first but it weighed her head down to much, so glue it a better way to go for a lighter AngelDSC02066

Step 6: Take Angel somewhere open and well ventilated a spray with stone textured spray paint, follow directions and this step may require a few coats or touching up, let dry

DSC02333

Step 7: Don’t Blink and enjoy your Angel

I like how the Monster high dolls fingers are slightly ope, makes me feel like she is peeking, like hubby’s digital art

One of Hubby’s new pieces was featured on Redbubble!

Today we got an email and it was a pretty exciting email, it was from Redbubble, they had found one of Kris’ pieces and liked it so much that they decided to feature it today! Too cool!

Here is the piece, it is called, What lies Beneath and it is really stunning. I can see why Redbubble chose it.

It is digital art and a true Kris Floyd original!

Haven’t you ever wondered what was beneath those layers of blue, lurking right under us? I mean, I believe in Nessie, don’t know about Sasquatch, but yep, definitely Nessie, lol!

This Sea Dragon really seems to be commanding an audience. I love the little details most, like the jelly fish and the school of fish by the signature (click on picture for better view.)

I think Redbubble made a very wise choice picking this creation for their featured art, don’t you?!

If you want to leave a comment, check out more of Kris’ work, or purchase one check out redbubble.com

Happy Dr Who Wednesday!

Okay, today is not an official Doctor Who day but it is my Doctor Who Wednesday and I am sorry I haven’t done one in a while but I have been busy.

I mean there have been alot of things going on in the sci fi world that required my attention; Iron Man 3, Star Trek: Into Darkness and the season finale of Doctor Who, so yep, I’ve been busy!

Speaking of the Doctor Who finale, here is an awesome digital piece that hubby created with the newest villain, the Whisper Men and one of our favorites, the Silence.

Silent Whispers

It is entitled Silent Whispers and I think it is pretty awesome, the Whisper men are pretty creepy but who do you think would win this showdown?

I mean the Silence do have the advantage, as soon as the Whisper men turn their back, the would forget that they were in a fight and then the Silence has the upper hand, lol!

I hope you enjoyed hubby’s newest piece of art, to comment on his art or buy a print, please visit redbubble.com or deviantart.com

Disney Anniversary Trip – Day 5- Downtown Disney Afternoon with Nana, Pop Century, Kristy and Disney Quest

Good morning everyone, yesterday we left off after lunch with Fay, today we are going to finish our time with her, head to Pop Century and find out about the King Cupcake, make a new friend at the DVC, plus check out Disney Quest.

After lunch we walked around a little bit and caught up some more

Us

From there we walked over to the Lego Store and found Buzz, Woody and RC made of Legos232323232%7Ffp543(8)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; 99;234;nu0mrj

Nessie- Glad to see it is still there 🙂 232323232%7Ffp73498)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; ;9;534;nu0mrj

But what I had been looking forward to most was this

That Lego statue was just amazing, the color, the shape all of it was right on. The dragon looked perfect in Legos, kinda looked like scales. I was so happy to finally see it in person232323232%7Ffp73477)nu=3642)4(3)267)27334(335825 ot1lsi

While walking around we also saw that since it was spring break in a lot of states, they had the high school bands performing, this one was playing music from Pirates of the Caribbean when we stopped. They were from Kansas and later played Somewhere Over the Rainbow. They were great and just made me wish my high school would have given us a trip to Disney when I was in band.232323232%7Ffp54392)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;37234;nu0mrj

We sat here and said our goodbyes to Fay, was a nice but too short visit as always.232323232%7Ffp54354)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;3;;;34;nu0mrj

After we said our good byes, I was a bit sad so hubby took me into the World of Disney store to cheer me up and we saw this awesome version of Cinderella’s  Castle.

Front232323232%7Ffp734 8)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;37734;nu0mrj

Back 232323232%7Ffp734 9)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; 99;834;nu0mrj

We went to Once Upon a Toy, had to say hi to Buzz first232323232%7Ffp54375)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;35 34;nu0mrj

Then went to Mickey’s Pantry and hopped on the bus back to our resort232323232%7Ffp543 2)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;37834;nu0mrj

We went back to the hotel and got into more comfortable Disney Clothes and headed over to Pop Century to see a guy about a cupcake 🙂

But before we head over to Pop Century, I wanted to show you this. A few days ago I was getting dressed and noticed in the bathroom in the shower, ( which is Ariel’s grotto) a few hidden Mickeys, just thought I would share

232323232%7Ffp73498)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;37934;nu0mrj 232323232%7Ffp54358)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;3;(334;nu0mrj

When we were heading over to Pop Century, I noticed the drop off, the words are all little fish like in Finding Nemo, it is the restroom and laundry area for the Nemo pool.232323232%7Ffp54363)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;3;(234;nu0mrj

We crossed the bridge to Pop Century and headed straight for the food court.

Success! We got our King Cupcake, named for the king of course, Elvis Presley 🙂 232323232%7Ffp543; )nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;38234;nu0mrj

It is a chocolate cupcake with peanut butter frosting that is topped with candied bacon (yep, I did say candied bacon)  and chocolate drizzle232323232%7Ffp543(6)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;38334;nu0mrj

And there is a banana custard inside.

Yum! I am not a big fan of peanut butter and was skeptical of the candied bacon, but this cupcake was good and huge (it is really the equivalent of two normal size cupcakes, so super easy to share!) The peanut butter taste like a Reeses pieces and the banana is that very banana flavor, it all just marries so well together. Was one of my favorite cupcakes of the trip and it was only one snack credit, score!

After our delicious cupcake we went to talk to the Cast Members and do some pin trading and they told us about their pin board coming out at 5, it was around 4:40 or so, so we decided to walk around check out the hotel some more so we could see their pin board before we headed back to our resort to check out theirs.

Pop Century is really not my cup of tea, it feels very mushed together and the theming is hodge podge at best. There is the occasional character but the buildings are surrounded with weird items from their era, like the ugly platforms and silly catch phrases in the 60’s and 70’s  areas. I am sure some people really like this hotel but I will visit for the cupcakes.

After the tour we went to the pin board, sadly did not see any we needed but the board was huge.

We then went to our lobby and the pin board wasn’t out, we asked and they went to get it (in Disney if you have a question or a request, just ask, they really will try to get you what you need.)  In the mean time we found, Kristy, who is a Disney Vacation Club Cast Member, we did a pin trade with her and got to talking about the DVC. We chatted for a long while, sharing stories of our love for Disney, Disney weddings (we had a Tangled themed wedding) and we decided to do the DVC tour in the morning and hear more about the club and the timeshares Disney offers (more on that in Day 6.)

Downtown Disney Westside has a movie theater, Pleasure Island, Splitsville (the new bowling alley), House of Blues, a bunch of shops, restaurants, clubs and Disney Quest.

That was where we were headed, with our Disney tickets we did park hopper with water park and more, so we could do Disney Quest every day if we had wanted to as part of our tickets.

Astro Blaster232323232%7Ffp734 7)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;3;434;nu0mrj

Us 232323232%7Ffp73486)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;3;834;nu0mrj

The Astro blaster looked a lot more fun from the outside, it was like a bumper car that shot dodge balls. You ran over the balls to get them, then had to load them into the shooter and close the trap before you could shoot. Plus if you get hit in the target you spin around in a circle, unable to control your car. Once was enough on that ride.

Then we tried this human pin ball game232323232%7Ffp54372)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;9;3; 34;nu0mrj

You stand on a platform which reminded me of a segway without wheels and you rock your body to get the pin balls to move, some of the platforms were more responsive than others and it was kinda of strange

Next up Cyber Space Mountain232323232%7Ffp734 2)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;4 (334;nu0mrj

You go to a station with your card and make a roller coaster to your specifications (which certain restrictions) then when you are done you get to ride it in a simulator232323232%7Ffp54433)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;4 (534;nu0mrj

You can also purchase your video after. This was fun but still not a roller coaster and we have been fortunate enough to do something like this at home.

After that we rode Aladdin’s Magic Carpet Ride232323232%7Ffp73496)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; 886634;nu0mrj

The area is very pretty and has this motorcycle like consoles  with helmets hanging above them232323232%7Ffp73475)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; 886234;nu0mrj

This is one of the virtual rides where you actually see the “reality” though goggles as you travel through the desert collecting gems232323232%7Ffp54345)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;4 (734;nu0mrj

I liked this game but the helmets were heavy and bulky and did not smell to great. Also, it was neat to turn my head and see hubby as Abu.

Next up was the Virtual Jungle Cruise232323232%7Ffp73478)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;4 ( 34;nu0mrj

You get into this inflatable boat in front of this big screen and are given paddles. Then the blue tarp underneath inflates and moves like waves and you have to paddle your way through the river. 232323232%7Ffp7349 )nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;4;3234;nu0mrj

It was pretty crazy and kinda hard to maneuver but other than that was a really neat concept.

Our favorite in the arcade however was Pirates of the Caribbean, Battle for Buccaneer Gold232323232%7Ffp734;3)nu=3642)4(3)273)27334(336425 ot1lsi

You head into a glass doored room and onto part of a ship with a steering wheel and 4-6 (can’t quite remember) “cannons”. You wear 3d glasses and shoot at oncoming ships, sea monsters and skeletons trying to pillage as much gold as possible. The cannons are pretty much the same kind as in Toy Story mania and are very easy to shoot. It is really fun and very active (hold onto to your 3d glasses)  if you are just a two people party like we were, running all over the boat to shoot ships.

We enjoyed this one so much that we hopped right back in line and did it again and we got the highest possible ranking, yay!

So that is are quick run through Disney Quest, you could easily spend hours in here due to how many actual arcade games there are but we were more interested in the Disney unique rides and games. It is a really neat place, I recommend checking it out at least once.

We were really proud of our high score and headed out to experience more of the Westside

I love the decor here, really works, seeing as it is primarily a candy apple shop, they dedicated the space to the queen of apples herself, Grimhilde, the Evil Queen from Snow White of course, in witch form.

There are apples everywhere in the decor, trellis on outside of window232323232%7Ffp543 4)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;;;4;3534;nu0mrj

While we didn’t get an apple, we did get some snacks for later a Mickey ear mint chocolate brownie and a white chocolate chunk cookie.

Then we went into D-Street, they sell primarily Disney vinylmations and Star Wars Stuff

I was getting hungry and as we were walking through Westside, the smell of pretzels was wafting in the air.

So we stopped in Wetzels pretzels and each got a pretzel dog (one snack credit each) and ate them as we walked to the Marketplace. Yum! They were really good and very hot, took a while to cool down, but I LOVE pretzel dogs and it was totally worth a snack credit 🙂

From there we went to the Lego store to go inside, we met the Hulk and Kris got angry with him! Kris SMASH!!! 232323232%7Ffp543;8)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; (53;34;nu0mrj

It was getting late and we hadn’t truly eaten and the nearest restaurant in site was Earl of Sandwich.

So we entered the restaurant and  found out how their menu worked for the  dining plan (sandwich, drink and $3 side item)

We got a Holiday sandwich (turkey, stuffing and cranberry,) a Montegue sandwich (turkey, ham and mustard sauce) and our drinks along with a cookie and a brownie cake.

We took them to go and got on the bus at Marketplace to enjoy our dinner in our room and settle in for the night.

I forgot to take pictures of the sandwiches, they weren’t bad but again not the best use of the dining plan (this meal was under $25 for both of us.) I did really enjoy the holiday sandwich, but I am a sucker for Turkey and things Thanksgiving related.

Here are our sweets, though.232323232%7Ffp543 )nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; (93;34;nu0mrj

We actually didn’t eat any of these guys until we got on the plane and the treats from Candy Cauldron held up pretty well, even in my bag all day the last day.  The brownie was nice and minty and the cookie was really good, even though I don’t like white chocolate as much as hubby, the cookie texture was great.  The Earl of Sandwich treats were eaten after we got home and the cake was pretty dry by then.

That is the end of Day 5, tomorrow, Day 6 will start with our tour of the Disney Vacation Club, then we will head to Animal Kingdom, go on safari and conquer Everest.

Disney Anniversary Trip – Day 5, Hotel Lobby, Downtown Disney and T-Rex with my Grandmother :)

We are onto day 5, we have made it more than half way through the trip report give or take and so much has already happened since we have been home, that I can’t wait to share with you guys.

But first we have to finish this glorious trip, day 5 we got up and noticed it had rained over night. We were really happy it waited because we saw it had a 60% chance of rain that day and we didn’t want it to ruin our water park fun ( even though hubby likes to swim in the rain.) The rain also brought it some cooler air, so I was really happy the day at the water park went off without a hitch 🙂

View of the parking lot from our room, all wet from the rain232323232%7Ffp54358)nu=965;);59)25 )WSNRCG=363;; ;94934;nu0mrj

Remember in my day 1 post I had said there were shorter ways to the lobby and bus if you chose different paths, well here is our  example, from the Triton rooms if you head towards the parking lot and follow this sidewalk it takes you all the way to the buses and the lobby, much shorter but less scenic and there are cars, so watch where you walk. This walk will shave about 3 to 5 minutes off your walk verses walking through the Little Mermaid and the Lion King areas due to the narrow walkways and them being more crowded.

We had decided we were going to shoot for Animal Kingdom that morning and try to ride a few rides before heading to the  Downtown Disney Marketplace, but the Animal Kingdom bus wasn’t there and we didn’t want to be late for lunch with my amazing  grandmother, so we went in the lobby, to the  ink&paint shop and the arcade to do some pin trading before we headed over to meet my grandma for lunch.

As you just saw me mention, we had been doing pin trading, this trip.

What is pin trading you might ask?

Well it is simple really and a ton of fun!

Step 1: Buy some official Disney pins

Step 2: Find a Cast member

Step 3: Ask them nicely to see their pins

Step 4: They will show you

Step 5:  If you like any you see, you can ask you trade up to two pins with them

You can trade up to two pins per day with each and every Cast Member with a pin collection, so this leads to many fun trading opportunities on your trip.

Pin trading can also be done cheaply if you plan ahead (to learn more, check out this post I wrote about pin trading here.) We purchased a lot of 25 pins on Ebay for $15, which is a great deal compared to buying the parks (one pin starts at 6.95 on property.) You can also save on lanyards to wear your pins on the trip on Ebay or even make your own (we already had some at home.)

We hadn’t quite prepared as well as I thought though because we got hooked. 🙂 Which is easy. I LOVE Figment (the little purple dragon from Journey to Imagination at Epcot, for those who don’t know) and we found all these hidden Mickey Figment pins every time we turned around. Hidden Mickey pins are special because these are the ones they give to cast members only and they cannot be purchased, only traded for.  We both started with about 12 pins to trade and we ended up having to buy a whole bunch on site to continue our fun, it was totally worth it though.

If this happens to you, here is a tip, if you buy a starter pack, you can sometimes find packs that have 7 pins for $29 dollars, which makes each pin less than $5 this is the best value we found on site. Or if you are really just looking to trade two at that moment, they do have 2 pack (blind packs) that I believe were around $11.

The pin trading is a really great way to interact with Cast Members like you never have before. You will learn their interests, stories about what rides they have worked,  or even rumors about upcoming park designs.

At first we traded for things we thought looked neat and the more pins we saw the more an idea formed of what we wanted to collect. Once you figure out what you want to collect it makes the hunt easier.

On top of the that you can also ask the Pin Trader shop at Downtown Disney to see their pin book, so you can get an idea as to which pins in your set you are missing.

Also a fun fact we didn’t know going in, each Hotel has a pin board or book and then a large pin board that comes out once a day (most came out at 5, but it is better to ask what time the board is shown at each hotel) and some of the stores will have a pin board too.

Once you are hooked, you can’t help to want to talk to every Cast Member you see and can spot ones you need from a mile away!

It is a great experience and one that hubby and I bonded more so over.  We started a collection of Figments, Orange Bird and added more to are already large Haunted Mansion pin board.

Here is what are lanyards looked like in the beginning of the trip after a few trades

As you can see the collection grew so much that Figment over took both lanyards and the Orange Birds didn’t even fit (we managed a full collection of them.)

This was really one of the highlights of our trip, hubby really loved it, he said it was like one big scavenger hunt. If you haven’t tried it, I suggest you try it, but be warned you may get hooked, be prepared 🙂

In the ink&paint shop we got really lucky, one of the Cast Members there was into Figment too and she had some we needed and filled us in on some of the ones to look for. Thanks! After we checked out the whole area for new pins, we got on the bus to Downtown Disney

Once we made it downtown, we got off in the Marketplace. There are two parts to the Downtown Disney area, (soon to be called Disney Springs) there is Westside and Marketplace. Once we got off the bus, we headed to Art of Disney, one of my favorite stores in the Marketplace. It is filled with art (you may even get to see a Cast Member creating sketches for purchase in the shop) and is connected to a create a tee shirt shop and a paper goods store (good place to get scrapbook stuff or a notebook to journal your trip.)

Here are some of the amazing pieces we saw in the Art of Disney

We had heard about 30th Anniversary blind packs for Figment and we found them here after checking out the pin trading book, I was talking about before. We bought two of them and with a purchase of $25 or more, you can buy a blind pack pin for $2.95, we did. The Cast member that was helping us knew we were looking for Figment and helped us try to find the Figment completer pin. Our first try was a bust so he let us buy another one (without the whole spending $25 again) and we got him! Another wonderful cast member, thank you 🙂

This is what the blind packs look like

And here is the awesome pin that helped us complete one of our Figment sets, love it! figcom

Now it is finally time for you guys to meet my grandmother, my Nana, Fay!

Fay lives in Florida, so we couldn’t come to Disney and not see her. She is one our favorite people and we were so happy to spend an afternoon with her.

We went to T-Rex which is a Landry owned restaurant like The Rain Forest Cafe, which is also at Downtown Disney and I am sure you guessed by the name, dinosaur themed 🙂

We were having such a nice time we forgot to take pictures, but the meal itself was nothing to write home about.  I had a guacamole burger and Kris had a pulled pork sandwich, appetizers were a quesadilla and a flatbread, and we had doughnut holes with dipping sauces for dessert.

Verdict on T-Rex is the environment was fun, noisy but fun and  I think once is enough, the food isn’t special and the prices are kinda high, without the dining plan this meal was $85+ and only Kris and I got food.

That is where  I will leave you guys for today, tomorrow we will continue our afternoon with Fay, back to the hotel and Disney Quest 🙂

Who Wednesday – Don’t Blink

Hi guys, this is the final edition of Who Wednesday til we return from DISNEY WORLD!! Can you tell I am excited, I am going to be like that Disney World commercial, “I’m too excited to sleep!” for the next 3 days, did you see that?! 3 DAYS!!! OMG!!!

Anyways back to Whovian things, like I don’t know, Weeping Angels, how does that sound?! Or how about a Peeping Angel?! Intrigued?!

Good, today is one of my favorite of the Doctor Who Aliens, The Weeping Angel as portrayed by my wonderful hubby, Kristofer Floyd.

Here she is, “Peeping Angel”

Peeking Weeping AngelsIsn’t she beautiful?! I think she is one of my favorites from his Doctor Who series so far, I truly love the Weeping Angels and I adore this playful rendition of her trying to sneak a peek. I also really enjoy the lighting and the cracks on her skin.

I hope you like her as much as I do. If you want to see more of Kris’ work, leave him a comment, or order a print please visit DeviantArt or RedBubble

Now I did warn you not to blink but I forgot to warn you about an image of an Angel becoming an Angel, so don’t blink and good luck!

Sincerely, The Doctor (or Riddick posed as the doctor, cause “Bowties are Cool!”:) )

Have a great day, guys!

Who Wednesday – Featuring Kristofer Floyd

Fellow Whovians, Who Wednesday is once again upon us and I am pleased to announce another new creation of the Who kind.

Here it is :

Adisposing

Adiposing

Baby Adipose strutting their stuff for the mother ship.

These little cuties are another creation of my hubby’s, they were done digitally! They are so adorable, which I know no one thinks a pile of fat can be, lol! I really love the little guy up front, reminds me of the first time we encounter the Adipose. Also, the coloration and the glimpse of the other babies being beamed to the mother ship, really makes this picture for me.

I hope you enjoyed this picture as much as I enjoyed showing it off.
